2021 Graduate Student
|
My name is Danielle Barry, I am a graduate student with University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science pursuing my Master’s in Health Care Informatics. While attending Virginia College Online, I obtained my Bachelor’s in Health Services Management in 2014 and my Associate’s in Healthcare Reimbursement in 2010.
In addition to my current credentials, I am studying for my Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) with an anticipated completion date of September 2021. I have over five years of experience as a medical claim processor, biller, and analyst and through this experience I have gained an appreciation for accuracy and efficiency. I am a firm believer of doing things right the first time utilizing a touch-it-once approach; this mindset is applied both professionally and personally. This portfolio aims to demonstrate the development of professional skills and discipline knowledge that I have acquired throughout the program. The professional skills and knowledge include the following: Health Science; Leadership and Systems Management; Data and Knowledge Management; Information Technology; Systems Design and Management; and Quality and Regulatory Management. |
